National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) is a National effort at ensuring effective health care through a range of intervention at individual, household, community and most critically at the Health System Levels.
It was launched in April 2005 with a view to bring about dramatic improvement in the health system and health status of the people in the country.
The mission seeks to provide universal access to equitable, affordable and quality health care to the people and especially the poor and the vulnerable sections of community residing in the rural areas throughout the country. read more ...
